i had just finished my class 10 exam.
during the summer vacation, there was a two-month gap.
my plan was simple. i wanted to take commerce in class 11 and learn about business.
my dream was always to become an entrepreneur.
i believed commerce would give me time to understand business and also play more basketball.
as days passed, discussions about my future started at home.
but i never really got a chance to speak.
my opinions were ignored.
my parents decided that i would study science.
i was shocked. i felt like i had no right to choose my own stream.
when i tried to argue for commerce, i felt small, unheard, and stupid.
eventually, i was forced to take science and move to a hostel.
the first two or three months were the worst.
i couldn’t focus. my heart felt heavy.
still, i continued. i studied science for two years.
slowly, something changed.
i realized i was made for computers.
when i discovered coding, learning finally felt exciting.
today, i feel grateful.
sometimes life takes us where we never planned to go, but exactly where we need to be.
on a normal college day, my classes start at 9 in the morning.
i usually wake up around 8:30.
there’s no slow routine. i freshen up quickly and rush to class.
from 9 to 1, i’m mostly sitting in lectures, half tired, half focused.
once classes end, i go for lunch.
most days, i skip breakfast without even thinking about it.
after eating, i take a short nap for about an hour.
that nap is necessary. without it, the rest of the day feels heavy.
after waking up, i head straight to the gym.
the gym takes around three hours.
it’s the one part of the day where my mind feels clear.
after the gym, i come back and study academics for nearly three hours.
by this time, my body is tired, but my mind is still awake.
then i sit down to code.
coding usually starts with a plan, but ends with flow.
i spend almost five hours there without realizing how time passes.
by the end of the day, i feel exhausted, but satisfied.
it’s not perfect, but it’s my routine.
